History and Years:
The Beatrice Lebow brand was active in New York City in the 1950s and 1960s. The designer specialized in creating elegant cocktail and evening dresses, which were sold in prestigious department stores (such as Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue). Today, these dresses are prized by vintage collectors for their high-quality craftsmanship and feminine silhouettes in the "New Look" style.
Description and Design:
Silhouette: Fitted dress with a full, layered skirt, midi length (just below the knee).

Accent: A wide satin belt accentuates the waist and flows into a decorative bow at the back.
Skirt: Full, composed of several layers of tulle, the top layer of which is also decorated with a polka dot pattern.

To create these styles, Beatrice Lebow typically used:
Tulle/Tulle: The main material for the skirt and yoke.
